Finally...........I made cards!

Here are a few cards that I made last night. I had inspiration for a couple of these cards from a talented SU demonstrator, Angie over at Chicnscratch. :)

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Stampin Stamps are going die cut!

All New Stamp Sets to be Die Cut

Yes, that's right- all new stamp sets will be die cut! No trimming- just pop the stamp out of the sheet, peel off the backing sheet and pop the stamp onto the block and you're ready to go! I'm so in love with this, if your a SU stamper, you'll understand my enthusiasm. I have several new sets that are die cut, it was super fast to mount them.

:-) Thanks for stopping by.

My first Christmas Card

I just thought that I'd share a card I made, it's simple but I like it. :)

I used the Spotlight on Christmas set from Stampin Up. The cardstock is Old olive, the ribbon is Very Vanilla. I used Rose Red ink for the flower and tag, also Old Olive ink.
I double punched the flower, layered them and then bent the top petals a bit, it's hard to see in this picture. Oh, I used a versa mark pad to do the back ground. :)
More to come..........

Stampin girls night out

I had so much fun at Jan's 'Stampin girls night out', last week. Here are two of the four cards that we made. I made the butterfly card but ran out of time, so I did not get to make the cute snowman card. Jan was so sweet and gave me hers. :)

I am planning on holding my own 'Stampin girls night out'. I have yet to pick a night but will soon. I was thinking perhaps the 3rd Friday night of each month. I'm looking for a location to hold this event, I'll let you know more soon. I will also be holding a Holiday open house on the 21st of November. More info to come.

I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful fall weather.

Oh so pretty!

Below is a video tutorial to get you motivated to stamp. This is not my video, but I wanted to share it because I like the technique. Let me know if you'd like to learn more about this card or rubber stamping with Stampin Up.
